Faith at the Heart of Everyday Learning

At Quincy Catholic Schools, faith is lived daily, through prayer, worship, service, and the relationships that shape each child’s growth.

Faith as a Foundation for the Whole Child

Faith formation at Quincy Catholic Schools is rooted in the belief that education is about more than academic achievement. Students are guided to grow spiritually alongside their intellectual and personal development, supported by their families, parishes, and school communities.

Across all four parish schools, Catholic faith is woven into daily routines, classroom learning, and school culture, helping students develop a strong moral foundation and a sense of purpose.

Students of all faith backgrounds are welcome, and families partner with schools to ensure faith is presented thoughtfully, respectfully, and authentically.

Faith Integrated Daily

Catholic values are integrated throughout the school day, across all subject areas. Prayer, reflection, and faith-based discussion help students understand how learning connects to their lives and responsibilities.

Religion instruction is age-appropriate and designed to help students develop a deeper understanding of their faith while building habits of reflection, kindness, and service.

Prayer & Worship

Prayer and worship are regular parts of student life at Quincy Catholic Schools. Students participate in school Masses, prayer services, and classroom prayer that reflect the rhythms of the liturgical year.

Parish priests and clergy are actively involved in school life, reinforcing the close relationship between schools and parishes and helping students see faith as a shared community experience.

Sacramental Preparation & Service

In collaboration with families and parishes, students prepare for the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. This preparation emphasizes understanding, reverence, and active participation in parish life.

Students are also encouraged to live their faith through service. Age-appropriate service opportunities help students develop compassion, responsibility, and a sense of care for others.

Welcoming All Families

Quincy Catholic Schools welcomes students from all faith backgrounds. While Catholic identity is central to our mission, families of all beliefs are respected and valued.

All students participate in religion classes and school prayer experiences, and schools work closely with families to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment for every child.
